The File Menu
This menu includes all basic functions for creating, opening, and saving worksheets. It also provides the commands for setting up and printing worksheets.

Send to iPad: |
Uploads the worksheet to our server and provides you with a download code so that you can load it into your iPad. Your students can then interactively solve the exercise, using our app called Worksheet Go! |
Export to Multitext: |
Export the active worksheet in a format which can be read by Multitext (see chapter "Export to Multitext") |
Print as Workbook |
Opens Workbook Wizard to professionally print the document as workbook |
Page Setup: |
Change the format and other settings of the worksheet |
Edit Page Frame: |
Edit the page frame including header and footer |
Page View: |
View complete page |
Print: |
Print active worksheet |
Printer Setup: |
Change printer and printing options |

The Page Menu
The Page menu provides functions for inserting, deleting and copying complete pages.
Add new page: |
Append a new page to the end of the document |
Insert new page before selected page: |
Insert a new page before the selected page |
Delete selected page: |
Delete the selected page |
Cut page: |
Remove the selected page and copy it to the clipboard |
Copy page: |
Copy the selected page to the clipboard |
Paste page before the selected page: |
Insert the page from the clipboard before the selected page |
Paste page after the selected page: |
Insert the page from the clipboard after the selected page |
Copy Worksheet Page to Clipboard: |
Copy the currently selected page of the worksheet to the Windows clipboard. This way you can paste the worksheet into third party applications such as Microsoft Word (see the chapter "Copying Items to Word"). |
Copy Solution Sheet Page to Clipboard: |
Similar to the previous entry, however only the solution sheet page is copied to the clipboard. This command is only available if at least one item on the worksheet uses the Exercise Generator. |
Edit the Teacher Note for the Worksheet Page |
Opens a dialog for setting or editing the teacher note for the active page |
The Edit Menu
The Edit menu includes basic editing commands such as "Copy", "Paste" and "Undo". Most of these commands can be executed with a shortcut (see the chapter "Available Shortcuts")

Repeat: |
Repeat the undone action |
Cut: |
Remove the selected item and copy it to the clipboard |
Copy: |
Copy selected item to the clipboard |
Paste: |
Paste the clipboard content |
Copy Item to Clipboard: |
Copy selected item to the Windows clipboard This way you can paste the item into third party applications such as Microsoft Word (see the chapter "Copying Items to Word"). |
Copy Item with Solution to Clipboard: |
Similar to the previous entry, but the item is copied to the clipboard including the solution. This command is only available if the Exercise Generator is active for the selected field. |
Calculate New Exercise: |
Calculates a new exercise variation for the currently selected item. |
Calculate all Exercises Again: |
Calculates new exercise variations for all items on the worksheet. |
Select all Items on the Page: |
Selects all items on the currently active page |
Delete items: |
Deletes all currently selected items |
The View Menu
The View menu provides functions for hiding and showing the sidebar and the helper grid.
Go to Whiteboard View: |
Open the whiteboard view. |
Hide sidebar: |
Hide or show the right sidebar including the Property Editor, the Content Browser and the Tips & Tricks. |
Show Tips and Tricks in Sidebar: |
Hide or show the section "Tips & Tricks" in the right sidebar. |
Distribution of Top Toolbar |
Specifies whether the top toolbar is shown on one row or split into two rows |
Show Helper Grid: |
Show or hide the helper grid (for the convenient positioning of items) |
Spellchecker: |
Provides options for enabling, disabling and changing the integrated spell checking capabilities |
Display language |
Changes the language in which the user interface is displayed |
The Language Exercises Menu
This menu gives access to the language exercise related functions
Dictionary: |
Opens the dictionary view |
Story Library: |
Opens the story library dialog |
Exercises: |
Opens a dialog which explains how to apply language exercises to your text. |
The Marketplace Menu
The Marketplace menu includes all commands for the Online Marketplace of Worksheet Crafter:
Open Marketplace: |
Open the Worksheet Marketplace on the Internet |
Upload Current Worksheet: |
Upload the active worksheet to the online Marketplace to share it with colleagues. |
The Help menu enables you to access this manual. To do this you can also press F1 (Mac: Cmd+?) at any time. The menu also includes many links to important information and to the Worksheet Crafter webpage.
