Creating a New Story

Use the toolbar icon pictured on the left to place a new story on the worksheet. For more information about this topic see the chapter "Creating Items". When creating the story item Worksheet Crafter will open the story library and ask you for the story to insert (see below).

Editing the Text
Once the story item has been inserted it behaves as a normal text box item. For details about editing a text box item please refer to the chapter "Text box".
The story library is a dedicate dialog that shows all available stories. It further allows you to filter the stories by language, number of words and topic. A full text search is also supported. The story library is automatically shown when inserting a story item. Alternatively it can also be opened via the "Language Exercise" menu at any time:
The dialog has four section. At the left side you can filter the stories according to various criteria. The list in the middle shows all stories that match these criteria. In the right area a preview of the currently selected story is shown. Finally the buttons at the bottom allow you to insert the story into your worksheet or to copy it into the clipboard.
