Worksheet Crafter User Manual
In this chapter you find information for IT administrators about how to install and configure the Worksheet Crafter.
License Model
In this chapter we assume that your school is using a flexible school license where you may use the customer portal to create and remove licenses for individual teachers. This is the only license model available for new orders by schools since end of 2019.
Before there was a "small" and "big" school license with only one license key for all teachers. In this chapter those old license types are referenced as "the old school license".
Internet Access via Proxy Server
In most cases the Worksheet Crafter can connect to the internet by automatically getting the connection settings from the operating system. Only for specific proxy configurations it may be necessary to set up the connection via Worksheet Crafters' admin.ini. Here is how you do that.
Installation of Worksheet Crafter in School
For installing the Worksheet Crafter on a school system there are the following options:
•Installation on a server and accessing the program via network drive (recommended option)
•Single client installation
•Installation in Citrix environment
•Installation via IServ school server
•Installation as OPSI package (paedML)

Login Methods for Worksheet Crafter
Worksheet Crafter is a desktop application that is running locally on the respective computer. It has two different login options. Depending on the configuration of your school network one or the other is preferable.

Configuration via admin.ini
The admin.ini provides different settings for administrators like:
•Proxy settings (if Worksheet Crafter may not directly communicate with the internet)
•Location for asset packages and templates
•The Login Method (see above)
