The solution item can be used for various kinds of worksheets. Simply drag this item into the view and enter an arbitrary text. The text will then be treated as solution and will thus only be visible on the answer key.

Creating a Solution Item

Use the toolbar icon pictured on the left to place a new solution item on the worksheet. For more information about this topic see the chapter "Creating Items".

Editing the Text in Solution Items
Once you created a solution item you can start typing in text. To modify the text later, simply double click on the item. Solution items always treat its complete text as solution. The decision whether to print the worksheet or the answer key is done during the printing step.
Limitations
The solution has multiple limitations compared to standard text items:
•The text can only be single-line
•Text formatting such as bold and underline can only be applied to the complete item. Italic text is not supported.
•Selecting text is currently not supported, neither via mouse nor via keyboard
•Handwriting fonts are not supported by solution items
The Solution Item in Interactive Worksheets
The solution item is ideal for interactive worksheets:
On the tablet the text solutions are displayed in the solution bar below the page and may be dragged on the target areas in the worksheet. Target areas are all solution items as well as all solution areas of exercises like the number pyramid and target areas of image solution items. The solution items are also target areas for solution images or exercise values. Of course those allocations will prove wrong when the worksheet correction is done.
Properties
The solution item provides the following properties
•Incorrect solutions: Add an arbitrary number of incorrect solutions here. Worksheet Go! will use this information to include incorrect solutions in the suggested solutions set.
•Align sizes on page: If enabled then all solution items on that page are set to the same size, based on the maximum content
•Syllable colorization: Automatically colorizes the text according to the syllables
•Frame: You can add a custom frame around the item
