Creating a New Numbering Item

Use the toolbar icon pictured on the left to place a new numbering item on the worksheet. For more information about this topic see the chapter "Creating Items".

Positioning
When you move the numbering item, the grid is ignored to allow accurate positioning by default. For other items accurate positioning may be activated by holding the ALT key.
Editing the Text of a Numbering Item
The numbering item automatically searches for the next free number on the current or any previous page and uses this one. You can however also set the number on your own if required. To do so, double click on the numbering item to edit and format the content of the text box. For more information about using text boxes refer to the correspondent chapter of this manual.
Font Size
The numbering item by default automatically chooses the best font size. For example, if you enlarge the item then the font size will also be increased. A new numbering item will match the size of the previous numbering item. However, you also have the possibility to select the text in the numbering item and to set an own font size for it. In that case please take into account that resizing the item will also change the font size again.
Numbering Item Properties
The numbering item provides the same properties as the text box, such as the style and color of the frame.
